I was well pleased with this Color the Gospel Coloring book by Inspired to Grace. I recently decided to try to find a coloring book that was more in line with my beliefs. I do really like the whole new adult coloring vibe however I wanted to stay away from the new age type meditation that is found in the mandala books. I like them, I just felt I needed something that spoke to my own beliefs. I really like that I get a chance to focus/meditate on a particular scripture while coloring in the flowers bordering it.The cover and pages are printed on high quality bright white paper. the flowers are beautiful. I found it interesting and calming to to color the pages. I like many aspects of this coloring book; however there are a few things I didn't like or improvement I would like to suggest. My personal preference would be to have outlined words instead of completely printed black lettering. This would allow one to color the actual scripture and spend more time focusing on the words. I would also like to see a little variety instead of flowers. Don't get me wrong I love the flowers they are beautiful but every page was bordered with flowers in this book. There were 31 pages for coloring in this book. One page with other featured books in the Color the Bible Series and one page with an invitation to sneak peeks, contest, news and an opportunity for sharing your work on social media. The floral designs are a little more closed lined so they offer a great opportunity to practice shading and blending techniques. The art for coloring is printed on single sided pages which is always a plus and helps prevent bleeding.Overall, I really liked the book, I like that it's Christian centered and has scripture for reading. There are just a few suggestions I have made to make future publications better but all in a nice alternative to coloring mandalas.*I review many products on Amazon. I paid full price for this product and the opinions stated are based on my use and enjoyment of it.
